Sleeve Sneeze Health Promotion Campaign 2006/07
“No Tissue? Do the Sleeve Sneeze.” is a Toronto Public Health promotion campaign launched in November 2006 during the annual flu clinic to raise public awareness of reducing the spread of germs by keeping your hands clean and covering your cough. The campaign consisted of transit advertising, print advertisements in major newspapers such as the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, Metro and Sun, website advertisements and pocket tissue displays and promotion at flu clinics. Approximately 40,000 pocket tissue advertisements were given away at the flu clinics across the GTA. The pocket tissues played an important role in helping us to get our message out to the public. This unique and effective way of advertising is definitely nothing to “sneeze” at!
